A hand hammered solid copper pedicure bowl, finished outside in a deep green patina and left as bare polished copper inside. Every dimple is struck by hand, so no two bowls carry quite the same pattern or quite the same shade of green.
Copper holds heat far longer than plastic or steel, so the water stays warm through a full soak rather than going cold in ten minutes. It is the reason copper has been the material of choice for foot baths for centuries, and the reason the better salons still use it.
Heavy enough to sit still on the floor without sliding, deep enough for a proper soak, and good looking enough to leave out rather than put away.

Care
- Empty and dry after every use. Standing water will mark copper
- Wipe the green outside with a soft damp cloth only
- Keep polish and copper cleaning powder off the green. It will strip the patina back to bright copper
- The bare copper inside can be brought back to a shine with lemon and salt
- Never the dishwasher, and no abrasive scourers
Before you buy
Will the green patina wear off?
No. The green is a patina worked into the surface of the copper itself, not a paint or a powder coat, so there is nothing to peel or flake. It deepens with age. The one thing that will remove it is polish or copper cleaning powder, so keep those for the inside.
Can I fill it with hot water?
Yes. Bear in mind that copper takes on the temperature of whatever is inside it, so the bowl itself will feel hot to the touch when filled with hot water. That is exactly why it keeps the water warm for so long.
Is it big enough for larger feet?
At roughly 38cm across it is comfortable for most adults. If you are buying for someone with a very large foot, measure first. This is a deep soaking bowl rather than an oversized salon basin.
