A 1.5 litre hand hammered copper jug with a lid and handle, and four matching 300ml copper glasses. Enough for the table without going back to the kitchen.

Every piece is raised from solid copper sheet and hammered by hand, so the texture is never quite the same twice. Bare copper inside, no lining, no plating.

Care

Hand wash only, never the dishwasher. Dishwasher detergent dulls copper quickly. Lemon and salt, or a copper cleaner, brings the shine back whenever it darkens.

Before you order

Has this copper been tested for lead?
Yes, by Eurofins, against European food contact regulation EU 10/2011. Lead was not detected, and neither were cadmium, mercury, nickel, arsenic or chromium. The full results are published on our site.

Will the inside darken?
It will, and that is normal. The inside is bare copper with nothing coating it, so it reacts with water and air. It is not a finish wearing off. Lemon and salt brings it back.

Can I put ice or cold drinks in it?
Yes. Copper conducts heat quickly, so a chilled jug stays cold to the touch and so do the glasses. Keep hot drinks out of it, because bare copper and hot acidic liquids do not mix, and the metal gets too hot to hold.

Is every piece identical?
No, and deliberately so. Each one is raised and hammered by hand, so small differences in the texture and the tone are part of it.
