Heavy metals: not detected

Most copper sellers simply claim purity. We had ours tested instead, by Eurofins, against European food contact regulation EU 10/2011, and no lead or cadmium was detected. See the full laboratory results

Bring a touch of timeless charm to your table with this Antique Embossed Pure Copper Pitcher, a 1.5 litre jug where honeycomb artistry meets everyday function.

The outside is shaped by hand in a striking hexagonal honeycomb pattern and finished in a warm, deep antique patina, while the inside is left as natural bare copper. A fitted lid topped with a solid brass knob and a comfortable curved handle complete the piece.

Generous 1.5 litre capacity, perfect for serving water at home, entertaining guests, or adding a handcrafted centrepiece to your dining setting.

Each pitcher is individually made by skilled artisans, so subtle variations in finish and pattern make every piece one of a kind. Proudly brought to you by Ella's Touch, a small Australian women owned business celebrating handcrafted copper.

Good to know

Is this copper jug lead free?
We had it independently tested rather than just claiming it. Eurofins tested our copper against European food contact regulation EU 10/2011 and lead was not detected. Cadmium, mercury, nickel, arsenic and chromium were not detected either.

Why has the copper darkened inside?
Copper reacts with water and air, and darkening is normal on any uncoated copper vessel. It is not a coating wearing off, because the inside is bare copper. Lemon and salt, or a copper cleaner, restores the shine. The lid knob is a fitted brass component.

Disclaimer: Copper is a natural metal and may gradually change colour or develop a patina over time due to its natural reaction with water, air, and minerals—this is normal and does not affect its quality or benefits. To maintain its shine, clean regularly using natural methods such as lemon and salt or a mild copper cleaner. Avoid abrasive scrubbers, dishwashers, and harsh chemicals, as they may damage the surface.
