Questions we get asked
Are these copper glasses lead free?
We had them independently tested rather than just claiming it. Eurofins tested our copper against European food contact regulation EU 10/2011 and lead was not detected. Cadmium, mercury, nickel, arsenic and chromium were not detected either.
Are these really copper, or copper plated steel?
Solid copper, with no plating and no lining inside. There is an easy check at home: copper is not magnetic, so a fridge magnet will not stick to them. Laboratory analysis measured our copper at 99.6%, which is commercially pure copper.
