Before you buy

Is this copper bottle lead free?
We had it independently tested rather than just claiming it. Eurofins tested our copper against European food contact regulation EU 10/2011 and lead was not detected. Cadmium, mercury, nickel, arsenic and chromium were not detected either.

Why has the copper darkened inside?
Copper reacts with water and air, and darkening is normal on any uncoated copper vessel. It is not a coating wearing off, because the inside is bare copper. Lemon and salt, or a copper cleaner, restores the shine.

Disclaimer: Copper is a natural metal and may gradually change colour or develop a patina over time due to its natural reaction with water, air, and minerals—this is normal and does not affect its quality or benefits. To maintain its shine, clean regularly using natural methods such as lemon and salt or a mild copper cleaner. Avoid abrasive scrubbers, dishwashers, and harsh chemicals, as they may damage the surface.
